Germany’s network of interconnected highways that stretches across the countryside is infamous for having no federally mandated speed limit. Yes, we’re talking about the Autobahn. As much a part of German culture as the Romanesque cathedrals or Oktoberfest, the Autobahn is a must-experience for any motorist and/or first time visitor to the Deutschland.
Get acquainted with your inner speed demon and the expansive system of roadways —measuring more than 7,900 miles—with Autobahn Adventures. A selection of luxury European driving tours, Autobahn Adventures literally lets couples experience the ride of a lifetime across Germany and much of Europe.
We suggest trying the first adventure made available in 2014, the Germany, Austria, Switzerland & Italy Tour. On the first day of the tour, September 1st, attendees will have their very own 2014 Porsche 911 Carrera delivered to the five-star Hotel Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden, just 25 minutes outside of the Frankfurt airport. Over the next 13 days and 12 nights, guests will travel more than 1,300 miles across the pastoral German countryside, while also passing through Zurich and Milan along the way. Guests of the tour will experience the visually dynamic Porsche Museum; visit Bavaria’s idyllic, storybook Neuschwanstein Castle; and stay at the comfortable and spectacular Interalpen Hotel, Lefay Resort & Spa and Villa Honegg. Each 5-star hotel and resort offering a taste of the different country’s breathtaking sights and charm.
