Benzel-Busch: Define The Way You Drive
One of the greatest, unquantifiable strengths that many outsiders don’t realize when it comes to New Jersey is the importance of community. As for those attending the launch of the Benzel-Busch Laureus Football Initiative in Englewood’s bergenPAC, however, the sense of togetherness could not have been more clear.
On stage with students and coaches Englewood’s undefeated Junior League champions as wells as students from the Dwight Morrow football team, Joseph Agresta, President of Benzel-Busch gave special recognition to the achievements of all involved while outlying the commitment the New Jersey dealership has made to promote social change.
“Whenever we get opportunities to celebrate our success we look to leverage them for the benefit of our most important charitable initiatives,” Agresta explained. “The Englewood community has been supportive of our organization over the years, so it gives us great pleasure to give something back to the children of our city.”
With the goal of transforming the lives of Englewood’s youth through football, the family-owned Benzel-Busch has partnered with Laureus Sport for Good Foundation USA and their national partners Up2US’ Coach Across America. Created and funded by Benzel-Busch, the program will support up to 200 students, from 3rd to 12th grade, who want to play football but may not have the resources to take part.
The Benzel-Busch Laureus Football Initiative will run after school during the academic year and during the summer months. It will ensure that participants are physically and mentally prepared for the challenges of high school football. With a well-rounded mentorship component as well, the initiative is sure to teach key lessons such as discipline, self-esteem and cooperation that can be used on and off the field.
“I am honored to be here in support of an initiative that I know will change so many lives,” echoed Englewood Mayor Frank Huttle. “This initiative is truly the work of the community and I’d like to honor everyone involved in making it possible; from City Hall to Coach Barry Harris to the Superintendent of Public Schools, I am thankful for your hard work and look forward to seeing our kids excel both on and off of the field.”
2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class
While the giving spirit was in full display at the bergenPAC, Benzel-Busch did not stop there. Introducing their newest arrivals, the pulse-pounding excitement was set by the live-wire American blues rock band Vintage Trouble, setting the stage for the debut of the all-new 2014 CLA-Class—with two of the models on hand for arriving guests to preview.
Designed with the CLS-Class in mind, the CLA four-door coupe truly embraces the edginess and style defined by Mercedes-Benz. Sleek, unbashful lines embody the sinewy muscular power tucked away in the hood as much as the luxurious components found in the cabin like the mbrace2, which seamlessly connects your computer or smartphone to the CLA. The next generation of connected, in-vehicle services from Mercedes-Benz, the mbrace technology is the most comprehensive cloud-based telematics system ever implemented.
An athletic build, dramatic diamond-block grille and decades of innovation may make this an attractive coupe from the Three-Pointed Star. But the price tag is sure to put it leaps and bounds ahead of its competitors. Starting at under $30,000—the CLA250 is unlike anything else on the road with such a competitive price-tag. And for those that like to live a little faster, the CLA45 AMG represents the performance and dynamic spirit found in the CLA-Class with its 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and 7-speed sports transmission. Jump out ahead with confidence knowing 355 horses gets it going 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
At Benzel-Busch, dedicated drivers will be able to test drive both cars for an exclusive experience, while also promising customization that will “define the way you drive.”
