RiverParc at Port Imperial
RiverParc, a brand new luxury apartment community along Weehawken’s Hudson River waterfront, is almost ready to be unveiled. The 10-story building is part of a $2 billion redevelopment initiative known as Port Imperial, enacted by the local administration to reenergize the once-industrial neighborhood. When completed, the two-mile stretch of land along the river will be filled with over 20 luxury building communities for residents, each of which offer stunning views of the Manhattan skyline.
Located on Port Imperial Boulevard, the building will be comprised of 280 apartments that range from 500-to-1,405 square feet. RiverParc will include a mix of studios, along with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes.
Roseland, a subsidiary of Mack-Cali Realty Corporation and a luxury apartment developer renowned for its innovative premium residences at Port Imperial, has infused RiverParc with its own unique lifestyle-oriented amenity package. The building will offer a host of high-end services for residents, including a health club, a juice bar, a splash pad recreation area for children, bocce courts, outdoor firepits, an enclosed parking garage and more.
But, perhaps the most unique aspect of the building will be its inventive indoor-outdoor amenity “reversal,” a new concept for luxury living. Traditionally, a building’s pool area is located outside of the community, while lounges and common areas are confined to the inside. However, in RiverParc’s case, the developers swapped these two, creating a weatherproof indoor pool area and an additional outdoor lounge, only a stone’s throw away from the scenic river waterfront. Additionally, the building’s golf simulator is situated indoors, while their cinema and lounge is located outdoors. This approach, according to Roseland, will foster a lively, energized living experience that is less susceptible to seasonal variations.
RiverParc will also open up its amenities as a club membership, which means that other local residents will have an opportunity to enjoy the building’s myriad offerings as well.
In designing RiverParc, Roseland was meticulous in offsetting the energy consumed from construction and ongoing management. RiverParc was designed to meet LEED® (Lead in Energy & Environmental Design) Silver standards, reflecting the building’s efficiency, sustainability and environmentally friendly design.
RiverParc, like other luxury residences in Port Imperial, benefits from its seamless access to New York City. Only steps away from the building’s front entrance, the Port Imperial Ferry offers all-day service direct to Manhattan.
