Say Hello to the Vulcan
Say hello to the Vulcan, the newest luxury exotic released by the premier British auto brand Aston Martin. The vehicle, which was announced by the company in late February, is starting to make its official rounds at multiple high-end auto shows around the globe. It premiered at the Geneva International Motor Show, which took place from March 5-15. Now, the Vulcan will be unveiled for the first time on North American soil at the New York International Auto Show from April 3-12 at the Javits Center in New York City.
Currently, there are a limited number of Vulcans available for Aston Martin aficionados to purchase, which makes the Vulcan even more alluring to collectors. Unlike any other Aston Martin vehicle, the Vulcan was designed to mirror that of a racetrack auto giving it 800-plus bhp as well as an all carbon fiber.
Created by the Aston Martin design team, which is led by Chief Operative Officer Marek Reichman, the Vulcan surpasses any previous model esthetically as well as in performance. The 7.0-liter V12 petrol engine allows the Vulcan to utilize the maximum speed needed to make it a track-only sports car. Multimac, a premier brand that has been working with the British company for years now, crafted the outer shell of the Vulcan. Other elite amenities the Vulcan possesses include Brembo racing disc brakes, Michelin race tires, an Xtrac six-speed sequential shift gearbox, complies with all FIA race safety requirements and much more.
If the esthetics and engineering are not enough to make you fall madly in love with the Vulcan, the ownership program definitely will lure you in. Since there is a minimal amount of Vulcans on the market for purchase, Aston Martin has set up a specific ownership program to help Vulcan owners become familiar with this luxury auto.
People who purchase a Vulcan auto will be given the opportunity to partake in a special program launched by Aston Martin. The program will allow owners to learn the art of track racing, so they fully understand the capability of their new exotic.
CEO Dr. Andy Palmer stated in a press release, “A sports car for true sports lovers, I believe the Aston Martin Vulcan—and the unique ownership program that sits behind it—sets a whole new standard in the ultra-high luxury super car class.”
The program officially kicks off in 2016 and will include tutorials from Aston Martin Racing’s Le Mans-winning Darren Turner. This is truly an opportunity that does not come about often and will definitely leave a positive mark for the Aston Martin brand in the future.
