Earlier this week, Tom Ford announced his new lipstick collection called Lips & Boys, which pays homage to certain gentlemen Ford knows (or did know) throughout his life. The new miniature-sized lipsticks will begin selling on his website on Black Friday, but will be quickly taken off the market as soon as the clock strikes midnight on November 29; and buyers won’t get another chance to purchase the collection until it hits stores on December 26.

The Lips & Boys collection will feature 50 lipsticks in various shades. Women’s Wear Daily says that Lips & Boys will be composed of 36 new shades, while the other 14 will be previously released colors including shades from the Velvet Suede collection.

According to Ford’s website, there will be 10 groups of colors to choose lipsticks from including: nudes to browns, silvers to blacks, metallics, light pinks to mauves, pop pinks to roses, fuchsia to magentas, corals to oranges, reds, violets to orchid and plums.

As for naming his newest collection, Ford told Women’s Wear Daily, “I like the idea of lipsticks named after boys. Why commit to one when you can have several?”

Names of some shades include Leonardo, Flynn, Holden, Sebastian and Beau. Ford also dedicates colors to his husband Richard, which is in the light pinks to mauves family, and his nephew Tomas, which is in the corals to oranges family.

When eager buyers visit the website to check out the shades and names of each product, they’re taunted by Ford’s 10 second clip. The clip shows a model kissing different guys while wearing different shades. The anticipation of the collection’s release also rises with the “Release Countdown,” which shows the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the lipsticks go up for sale on the website.

Each of the miniature lipsticks will sell for $32 in-store and online.
