BALMAIN_WOMEN_CAMPAIGN_SS16_08The #BalmainArmy was strong before, but after the launch of the company’s momentous Spring/Summer 2016 campaign, it’s undefeatable. The Parisian fashion house brought together three of the industry’s most iconic supermodels: Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer. The black-and-white stills shot by photographer Steven Klein are not only stunning, but will instantly transport you right back to the supermodels’ dominant era.

“This campaign is about what makes me love fashion, and these three women are exactly that,” says Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain, to Vogue.com. “These three women are what made me love fashion yesterday, make me love fashion today, and are going to make me love fashion in the future.”

BALMAIN_WOMEN_CAMPAIGN_SS16_05All three women pose together and separately while wearing the new coveted collection, which includes sleek, ruffled pants and skirts, bold embroidery pieces and wide fishnet clothing.

Balmain’s recent ads have sparked significant talk in the industry due to the high-caliber celebrities and models used in the campaigns. Thus far, the #BalmainArmy includes Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West, Rhianna, Cara Delevingne and the previously launched Fall 2015 campaign where today’s “It” girls Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Joan Smalls posed alongside their siblings Kylie Jenner, Bella Hadid and Erika Smalls.
