On October 22, 2015, America’s premier car dealership Benzel-Busch Motor Car Corp. celebrated their annual Open Haus event at their Englewood, New Jersey location. The event, which lasted from noon to 8 p.m., allowed guests to browse Benzel-Busch’s recently launched Mercedes-Benz 2016 luxury vehicles including the GLE SUV and GLE Coupe. A portion of the proceeds from the day’s sales went to benefit Englewood Hospital’s Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
With their brand-new interior/exterior designs and groundbreaking innovations, the GLE SUV and GLE Coupe are unlike any vehicles on the market today. The GLE SUV will replace Mercedes-Benz’s coveted M-Class series, while the all-new GLE Coupe is the first AMG sport model of its kind providing drivers with the perfect combination of an SUV and coupe. Throughout the course of the day, guests were able to sit and examine these vehicles and gain incredible insight on the all-new features from the Benzel-Busch experts. Guests were also informed about Mercedes-Benz’s GLC SUV (the GLK’s replacement vehicle), which will be unveiled in November.
Besides observing the luxury cars, guests also enjoyed an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and drinks, including cookies provided by Englewood’s very own Cory Nieves of Mr. Cory’s Cookies. Staff members of the Leslie Simon Breast Care and Cytodiagnosis Center were also present at the Open Haus event handing out educational pamphlets and spreading important information pertaining to breast cancer awareness. Guests also had the opportunity to take pictures with Benzel-Busch’s bright pink Smart Car, which donned the breast cancer ribbon and the words “smart center Englewood.”
