The Oakland-based brand has been rapidly expanding throughout the U.S., especially on the East Coast (a location just opened up in Union Square this past August). Their trademark? Keeping coffee batches fresh. 

    When first created, the company made a promise to customers that it will “only sell coffee less than 48 hours out of the roaster” to maximize the flavor, as well as use “the finest, most delicious, and responsibly sourced beans.” And so they have.

    To date, Blue Bottle Coffee has sold a variety of top blends like Bella Donovan, Beta, Giant Steps, Three Africas and Night Light Decaf, just to name a few. Each offer drinkers with its own unique taste and are crafted with beans from all over the globe including countries like Ethiopia, Peru and Sumatra. 

    Blue Bottle offers customers everything from whole bean coffee to brewing equipment (such as its clever cold brew bottle); but one of the most unique aspects of the company is its subscription services. You can select a blend assortment, espresso or single origin package and have perfectly roasted coffee arrive at your doorstep each month. It offers not only convenience, but a way for customers to receive these high-quality blends wherever and whenever they want. 

    New Yorkers can have their own first-hand experience at Blue Bottle Coffee at one of its many locations: Berry Street, Bushwick, Clinton Street, High Line, Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Chelsea, Dean Street, Park Slope and University Place. Other locations include Bay Area, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C. and Tokyo, while locations in Boston and Miami are currently underway.
