    Blue Morel of Morristown

When you enter Blue Morel it’s hard not to be immediately struck by how intimate and inviting the restaurant is. Though it shares space with the historic Westin Governor Morris Hotel in Morristown, this is by no means just an extension of the lobby. Instead, Blue Morel has expertly crafted its own niche and vibe, and serves as a complementary component with a growing following.

Exquisitely prepared seafood dishes adorn the menu and even the simplest of appetizers, such as the spicy tuna roll or their take on the traditional Caesar salad, Hearts of Romaine, are prepared with mouthwatering presentations. The true delight of Blue Morel, however, is their wine room—the perfect nook for a private event. The intimately sized table is surrounded by dozens of bottles of wine that easily rival the collections of most traditional Italian restaurants their size (and even those twice as large).

On August 15th Blue Morel celebrated its one-year anniversary and has already been declared one of the top 10 new restaurants of 2012 by Gayot.com. If you haven’t made your reservation yet, we don’t recommending waiting too much longer—and tell them HudsonMOD sent you.
