Alec Monopoly is the alias of a graffiti artist originally from New York, Miami and parts of Europe and Asia. Considered to be the contemporary Banksy, Alec has depicted various characters in pop culture such as Rich Uncle Pennybags from Monopoly and Scrooge McDuck. The BMW Art Car is a project that was introduced by French racecar driver Herve Poulain. It began in 1975 when he asked his artist friend Alexander Calder to paint his BMW 3.0 CSL. Calder’s design in primary colors inspired other renowned artists to paint designs on models for years to come. The current collection is comprised of 17 cars showcased in the BMW Museum in Munich, Germany.
