If you love interior design, then Designerlebrity will be your new obsession. Founded by Barbara Viteri, a seasoned designer and entrepreneur, Designerlebrity spotlights celebrity interior designer news, offers resourceful tips and covers what’s happening in the industry for enthusiasts like herself. The platform, which officially launched in October 2016, has already gained a reputable name on the market, allowing the New York native to turn her passion project into a successful brand.

In late May, Viteri unveiled Designerlebrity to residents living in New York City at an event that was hosted at Ethan Allen’s Flatiron storefront. Along with a panel of highly regarded patrons in the industry, Viteri divulged Designerlebrity’s overall goals to guests as well as speak upon some of the industry’s hottest trends such as niche marketings, staging million dollar homes and working with celebrities on designing their lavish homes.

The panel was moderated by award-winning designer and owner of Window Works NJ  LuAnn Nigara, who is based out of Livingston. Nigara is also the host of the popular podcast A Well-Designed Business, allowing her to effortlessly lead the evening’s discussions. Vietri was joined by three designers who are making an impact in the industry.

Cheryl Eisen of Interior Marketing Group dished about working alongside some of the world’s best brokers including the cast of Bravo TV’s Million Dollar Listings. If you’re a regular viewer of the show, Eisen spoke upon her experiences as staging million-dollar homes.

Mikel Welch of Mikel Welch Designs spoke upon his personal relationship with Family Feud host Steve Harvey and why his controversial “memo to the staff” became such a hot topic. Welch also delved into his experiences working with Harry Connick Jr. and how he crafted the set for Connick’s popular talk show HARRY.

Designer Manuella Moreira from Ethan Allen Flatiron also sat in the hot seat to discuss her passions to help clients not only fill their homes with bold interiors, but also add in traces of their personality to give their home a unique look and feel.
