On Saturday, October 18, Driven by Purpose hosted a fall country drive, which began at the magnificent Park Avenue Club in Florham Park, New Jersey. The 40 mile scenic route started at 10 a.m. and lasted for about an hour and a half. Showcasing northern New Jersey’s fall foliage, guests partaking in the drive rode past Governor Chris Christie’s home as well as Fox Business Network anchor Neil Cavuto’s home. Exotic cars such as Lamborghini and Ferrari registered for the event, and Paul Miller Bentley and Rolls Royce were the top sponsors. When finished, all guests returned to the Park Avenue Club to enjoy lunch made by Park Avenue’s Executive Chef Arnold D. Kruck and sipped on wine and beer.
The Park Avenue Club is a private social club that focuses mainly on giving back to their community. With philanthropy as a high priority for all members, the Park Avenue Club donates to 11 charities in the surrounding area and is the only private club in the nation to do so. Through the Park Avenue Foundation, some local charities supported by the club include the Boys & Girls Club of Newark, Community Food Bank of New Jersey and the Morris Habitat for Humanity.
Driven by Purpose is a not-for-profit organization that partakes in various charity events across New Jersey and the Tri-State area.
