Fashion designers have been crossing over into the decor world for some time now, but never as effortlessly as Gucci has. The brand’s newest collection, Gucci Decor, has been sending everyone into a frenzy. Effervescent colors. Pillows donning exotic animals. Distinctive candle votives. Gucci Decor has staked its claim in decor… and the designs are too good to not incorporate it into your home.
To commemorate the launch, Gucci partnered with Bergdorf Goodman—the first retailer to carry the collection—to host a private gathering to honor Gucci Decor. The collection was inspired by past Gucci clothing lines, and since Fashion Week is currently underway in New York, it was the perfect time for the two brands to celebrate.
The two powerhouses transformed the Bergdorf Goodman restaurant into a vibrant sea of colors. Notable guests filled the room including Gucci CEO Susan Chokachi and Senior Vice President of Fashion Office and Store Presentation at Bergdorf Goodman Linda Fargo. Other VIPs included Man Repeller founder Leandra Medine, Indre Rockefeller and Giovanna Battaglia. All guests ate off of Gucci Decor plating, while enjoying a live performance by singer and cellist Kelsey Lu.
Bergdorf Goodman will also house two temporary Gucci Decor installations, a permanent shop and two Gucci Decor-inspired windows. If you’re in the New York City area, you should go check them out to experience the unique designs first-hand.
