It all started with a telephone conversation with New York City’s own, Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian to get to know his fashion sense. As HudsonMOD’s fashion stylist, I’m always looking to bring out the best of our cover celebrities.

For this shoot we were looking to get Geoffrey in a number of looks. Equal parts creative culinary force, businessman and inveterate traveler means we could experiment with different outfits, while never straying from his own inner vision: classic looks that don’t go out of style.  Clothing, footwear and accessories were pulled from Neiman Marcus, Paramus, Robert Graham, Short Hills and Lucky Brand, Time Warner to give us a gradient of looks to choose. From sophisticated casual to his most formal dining attire, Geoffrey embodied the sophisticated, modern gentleman.

As soon as Geoffrey put on the Robert Graham dinner jacket, I knew that was the cover look. It fit him like a custom piece of clothing! Everything worked— from the fit to the color and style. But we took shots of him in a variety of looks, each one unique. Which one of Geoffrey’s classic outfits was your favorite?
