Actress Léa Seydoux, star of campaigns for Prada and Miu Miu, is now the face of Parisian fashion house Louis Vuitton. She made her first official appearance on January 12 wearing a black custom-made Louis Vuitton gown designed by Nicolas Ghesquière, the brand’s artistic director. She accompanied him to the 6th annual UNICEF ball at the Whilshire Four Seasons in Los Angeles.
As part of the #Makeapromise campaign, Louis Vuitton has designed a silver Lockit pendant and necklace worth $500, with $200 of the proceeds from each purchase going to UNICEF initiatives.
She will also star in advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton and will be joining the ranks with former ambassadors Jennifer Connelly, Michelle Williams, Alicia Vikander and more.
I feel extremely proud at the thought of representing such a strong symbol of French elegance, an iconic brand whose initials are known the world over.
