Since 2006 many business have went RED in an effort to show support for the fight against AIDS. To go RED means that every time someone shops or receives a service from a patriating brand, the partner makes a donation to the fight against the deadly virus. The idea came to be when Irish singer, Bono and activist Bobbi Shriver teamed up in hopes of creating an AIDS-free generation. They also hoped to raise money in an effort to help get drugs for AIDS to those in Africa that can’t afford them.

So far, brands such as Apple, Starbucks, Coca Cola and Beats Headphones by Dr. Dre have partnered with RED. Take a look at some products that recently launched new RED products to support the cause below.

Apple’s partnership with RED has lasted more than 10 years and with help from their consumers, the popular brand has become the world’s largest corporate donor for the fight against AIDS. “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED),” said Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO in a quote on their website.
