Ladies, you can never have enough perfumes lined up on your shelves. That’s a fact! Start making room for one more exotic, must-have scent: Russian Leather. Crafted by the Paris-based luxury brand, Memo Paris, this new fragrance will launch at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus stores this October.
This new perfume will be a part of Memo Paris’ Cuirs Nomades (“Leather Nomads”) collection, which currently includes four fragrances: Irish Leather, African Leather, French Leather and Italian Leather. Russian Leather will add a whole new depth to the collection with its distinctive smell that resembles everything that is “intensely Russian.”
The fragrance has three key notes: fougere, rosemary and leather accord, which will help define its distinctive smell when sprayed. As for ingredients, Russian Leather is comprised of basil oil, fougere accord, cedar leaf oil, Siberian pine needle oil, coriander seed oil, heart of lavandin, mint, rosemary oil, nutmeg oil, guaiac oil, patchouli oil, tonka bean absolute, leather accord, clary sage oil and cypress absolute. All of these ingredients helps to ensure Russian Leather’s authenticity to its environmental character.
According to the company, “Russian Leather summons a unique emotion with Slavic nuances. Indigenous to environments untouched by human intervention, and, for that reason, [it’s] truly captivating.”
To make this scent even more unique, Memo Paris collaborated with notable photographer Patrick Blin. His photographs of Siberia will be fashioned into limited edition postcards, which will give an added look into the idea behind the new fragrance.
Russian Leather will be available at Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus in October, and will retail for $250. To learn more about the fragrance and the Cuirs Nomades collection, please visit www.memoparis.com.
