Gentlemen, ruling your domain requires a wardrobe of epic and custom proportions… and Saks Fifth Avenue has revamped their men’s department to include brands that will do just that! On Thursday, October 29, HudsonMOD joined Saks of Short Hills to celebrate their Men’s Store Relaunch, which served as the kick-off event for their Made-to-Measure weekend. With inspiration pulled from the well-dressed cast members of FOX’s hit TV series Empire, guests of this event were able to view and shop a variety of premium clothing brands for men.
The relaunch event, which was held from 3-8 p.m., was opened to all customers who wanted to browse Saks’ collections. Highlighted men’s brands included AG, Billy Reid, Eidos, Eleventy, G4, G-LAB, Helly Hanson, J. Lindberg, Lacoste Golf, Moose Knuckles, Pal Zilen, Spiewak, Strellson and Z. Zegna. Saks employees also walked around the floor dressed in dapper suits and clothing from various brands to give customers visuals on how the clothing would appear on.
Besides shopping these highly coveted brands, guests of the relaunch event enjoyed upbeat music provided by DJ Nugget. Palatable passed hors d’oeuvres were also served including burger sliders, chicken skewers, coconut shrimp and more. Drinks were available for guests to sip on throughout the evening including premium scotched, wine, Fortune 5 Luxury Water, Shinola Cola and hand-shaven iced champagne provided by Moose Knuckles Canada. Additionally, hand-rolled cigars were handed out for guests to test.
Premium brands were also present at the Men’s Store Relaunch celebration including Tesla Motors, California Closets and Dieci Uomo, who each had their own table for customers to come and experience an upscale service. The evening’s car aficionados flocked to the Tesla Motors table representatives showed off their brand-new luxury vehicle and were holding on-premise drives for guests to test out. California Closets spoke with guests about their premium custom closet solutions and organizers and scheduled complimentary design consultations for those who were interested in redoing their closets. At the Dieci Uomo table, staff members were providing guests with a little extra R&R including massages and nail treatments.
