Sal Lauretta began his work as a tailor in Vittoria, Sicily where he and his father learned the exquisite art of being clothiers. Both Laurettas moved to America in 1962 and opened the eponymous Sal Lauretta For Men clothing store nine years later. Today, Sal’s son, Ralph, is helping his father maintain the thriving shop in Midland Park and together they have initiated a foray into boys clothing, formal wear, designer casual wear and custom-made accessories.

Along with dressing men in the finest garb, Sal Lauretta For Men has worked to make its community beautiful on the inside as well. As the host of the “Behind The Seams” Fashion Show, Sal Lauretta For Men has been able to raise more than $340,000 for Eva’s Village—a non-profit social service charity in Paterson that strives to shelter the homeless, assist those with addictions, feed the hungry, give medical attention to the poor and, most importantly, treat all people with respect as well as human dignity. The beneficent festivities featured Sal Lauretta’s highest selling sportswear brand, the Robert Graham collection, and all in attendance celebrated an astonishing night of high fashion and charity.

Sal Lauretta For Men also provides designs, shoes and custom accessories from illustrious brands such as Hugo Boss, EQ, DKNY, Dion Neckwear, Geox and many more. For businessmen who don’t have time to hunt for a new suit, Sal Lauretta For Men also offers in-home and office service as well as full-service tailoring.

The story of Sal Lauretta For Men began as a family passion and has now transformed into a community-focused emporium of opulent menswear, personalization and client service. If clothes truly make the man, Sal Lauretta For Men promises to make the man handsomely altruistic.
