New York Giants punter, Steve Weatherford, celebrated the 2015 NFL draft at Suite 36 in Manhattan on Thursday, April 30, 2015. Guests were treated to the ultimate Man Cave experience along with open bars, food and meet-and-greets with Steve and other players from the Giants. Notable guests of the night included former member of the New York Giants, Tiki Barber, and current member, Marcus Harris.
Suite 36, located in Midtown Manhattan, is a modern and luxurious space offering a refined gastro menu, large beer selection, signature fresh juice cocktails, state-of-the-art audio system, large TV screens and more. Decorated elegantly, it is the perfect place for small gatherings or even larger events.
Steve Weatherford has not only served as a role model for children, but he also is a spokesperson for several other non-profit organizations and has created his own foundation. The Steve Weatherford World Championship Foundation benefits many philanthropic causes such as his Rush the Punter and Kick for Kids events, Project Prom campaign and others.
“Charity comes in all forms and even the smallest sacrifice can help lend aid to our neighbors, near and far, who need it most. Giving back boils down to being an integral part of the human condition and there are some very special organizations that help people from all walks of life and have a place for every type of volunteer. All acts of kindness, no matter how small, are significant, and if these acts only impact one person, they will have still made the world a better place,” said Steve Weatherford on his website.
Attending guests were able to watch the NFL draft throughout the evening on large screens as well as chat with Steve and other players about their thoughts.
