The Shade Analyzer is held over the cheek of the individual and will instantaneously reveal her skin tone and complexion. Once these results are revealed, the in-store tech will suggest the foundation product best suited to the consumer; completely eliminating the daunting task of color matching.
While the Dior Foundation Shade Analyzer has been utilized in select boutiques for some time, the tech has reached new levels of innovation with the ability to complete the look by suggesting matching blush and lipstick.
Dior has stated that the new technology is a “revolution; an ultra practical, ergonomic and user-friendly technological tool, whose action incorporates all the expertise of Dior makeup artists.”
The Dior Foundation Shade Analyzer is not Dior’s first experience with in-store technology. Last summer, Dior Eyes was unveiled at select boutiques; a virtual reality headset showcasing Dior’s quality and craftsmanship. The budding relationship between technology and fashion has luxury brands constantly incorporating the latest tech with their products. Dior actively maintains its stance in the forefront of this innovative partnership.
