Beer lovers, pack your bags and get ready to head West because the Vail Craft Beer Classic is vastly approaching! More than 300 beers, wine and spirits will be showcased throughout the weekend-long event, which will run from June 14-17, so there’s no doubt that there will be something for everyone to sip on and enjoy!
With a multitude of events planned for the weekend, two must-attend celebrations are the Sip at the Summit and the Toast of Vail events. Read up on these exciting excursions below — you’ll be booking your plane ticket in no time.
Sip at the Summit
June 15, 6-9 PM
Mid Vail at Vail Resorts
Ever sip on a cold brew at an elevation of 10,350 feet? Neither have we; but we’d sure love to! The Vail Craft Beer Classic will make your sky high dreams come to life at the Sip at the Summit event. Presented by the Colorado Brewer’s Guild, guests who head to the top (in a gondola ride, nonetheless) will be met with more than 30 of Colorado’s famed breweries, where you can taste test each brand’s liquid gold while taking in the extraordinary views. Besides sipping, there will also be various dinner stations prepped by Vail Resort’s chefs set up around the venue so you can eat while you drink. Tickets to this grand tasting event are limited, so if you want to experience Vail at new altitudes, you better act fast! *No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to this event*
Toast of Vail
June 16, 3-6 PM
You won’t want to miss Toast of Vail — the largest tasting event of the Vail Craft Beer Classic weekend. With more than 45 brands across the U.S. showcasing their latest and greatest brews, guests will experience a tasting unlike any other. You will even receive a tasting cup to commemorate the fun experience! Hosted inside Vail Village, there will also be pop-up sessions for guests to listen to some of the brands’ brew masters and live performances by Float Like A Buffalo, Matt Rouch & the Noise Upstairs and Ryan Chrys & the Rough Cuts to dance to. Don’t head home though after the doors close at 6 PM. Guests are invited to an after-party concert at Solaris Plaza, where you can continue to party into the evening if you so choose! *No one under the age of 21 will be permitted to this event*
While these two events are a must-attend, they are not the only events that will be held during the Vail Craft Beer Classic. Other events include Brewers Dinner, Off the Hook, Bikes & Barley, Hikes & Hops, Grapes vs. Grains, and many, many more!
