Grab your champagne flutes and best polo attire and head to Liberty State Park this Saturday, June 3, to celebrate one of the metropolitan area’s most premier events: the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. Known for its high-end bubbly, Veuve Clicquot will help the tri-state kick off the summer season with an unforgettable experience as it celebrates its 10th anniversary of the Polo Classic.
Hosted by famed actor Neil Patrick Harris, the star-studded Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will feature a variety of luxurious happenings throughout the day to celebrate this significant milestone. Harris will be joined by Hamilton actor Jordan Fisher, who will kick off the festivities with his rendition of the National Anthem, and Alicia Keys, who will also give a live performance of her hit singles later in the evening.
To commemorate its 10th Anniversary, Veuve Clicquot has ensured that this year’s Polo Classic will go above and beyond. This year, guests will not only be able to soak in the sun while sipping on champagne, but they will also be able to taste test two all-new bubblies from the company including the Veuve Clicquot Rich and Rich Rosé.
Veuve Clicquot Rich and Rich Rosé will bring out your inner mixologist, as it’s supposed to be poured over ice with added ingredients that you fancy. Whether you enjoy fresh fruit additives or muddled herbs or spices, these two new bottles will be the perfect drink for this summer season.
Besides tasting the new beverages at the champagne bars, guests will have access to the merchandise tent, lawn games include oversized Jenga and gourmet food trucks from around the metropolitan area. At 2 PM, they can head to the main lawn to watch the polo match, which will undoubtedly be one of the biggest highlights of the day.
Fendi’s beloved #FendiRoadTrip pop-up shop will be making an appearance at this year’s event. Situated inside the Rosé Garden, Fendi will be showcasing its must-have accessories for this season including an all-new accessory collaboration with Veuve Clicquot. The limited-edition pompom pays tribute to the bold golden color of the famed champagne brand, and is the perfect embellishment for Veuve Clicquot aficionados. The keychain charm will be available for guests to purchase on-site and for a short time after on Fendi.com and in selected boutiques.
To make the day even more special, the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic will support two charitable organizations including the Friends of Liberty State Park and Keep A Child Alive, an organization that is co-founded by Alicia Keys. Keep A Child Alive strives to end the global AID/HIV crisis, especially in young children.
The Empire State Building and Brookfield Place will also be participating in honoring the 10th anniversary of the Polo Classic. New Yorkers can now visit a bold and colorful wall of flowers at Brookfield Place, and the Empire State will glow a golden hue on Friday night to laud Veuve Clicquot.
