In a technology-driven world, brand awareness is imperative for success. That’s why Terry Tateossian, founding partner of the New Jersey-based tech and marketing company Socialfix Media, spends much of her time skyrocketing clients to new levels using her expertise and dedicated business services.
Terry and her team make it their goal to exceed clients’ expectations, but they also are dedicated to donating pro bono services to charities that may need help getting the most out of media platforms.
In the past year, Socialfix received numerous accolades including Forty Under 40 from NJ Biz, Future 50 Companies from Smart CEO and 50 Most Admired Companies of 2016.
“We try to help charities which impact children, senior citizens or people who may not have enough advocacy or support in general,” says Tateossian, who holds many charitable foundations close to her heart. Socialfix has supported numerous philanthropic organizations across the country with over $500,000 in pro bono services. These include the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Parent-Child Home Program, Women’s Prison Association, Toys for Tots and the Dikembe Mutombo Foundation.
Terry and her team aid these charities by raising awareness though video production, event promotions and customized digital marketing strategies. Helping each charity create buzz in their respective areas not only benefits the charity, but the surrounding communities as well, as Socialfix aims to raise social awareness and funds for each highlighted organization.
“Our contribution is so small compared to the daily work nonprofit foundations do for the communities on a daily basis,” says Tateossian. “The real heroes of our world today are the people dedicating themselves to improving others’ lives.”
Donating tailored tech and marketing services is humbling and gives Tateossian and the entire team a sense of purpose and meaning. She urges her team members to provide recommendations of any charities that may need their marketing help.
“I cannot say enough about volunteering as an organization and what that does for your corporate culture,” she says.
